National Apprenticeship Week ran from 5th to 9th March and was a huge success.
It was fantastic to see so many success stories shared across the Group and we also made it into a local newspaper. We received an impressive 92 nominations for 28 Apprentices across the business for the Apprentice of The Year Award. It was very clear from the nominations that our Apprentices do some amazing work and are a valuable part of our team.
Of course, we could only have two winners, so well done to Andrew Dear (South) & Corinna Ruth (North). Both of our winners were awarded with £250 worth of vouchers but, that isn’t all. Derek, Optionis CEO, was so impressed with the nominations that he reviewed that he’s awarded everyone who was nominated with a £50 voucher.
Andrew was given this award because of his fantastic team player attitude and his proactive approach to his AAT qualification. He puts extra hours in at home to help him sail through his qualification and always keeps on top of his workload to a high standard. Andrew’s colleagues describe him as a positive and happy energy to have around the office.
Corinna was given this award as she’s always eager to learn and develop in both her studies and her job. Despite her dedication to her studies, she consistently exceeds her KPI targets and her work standards never slip. Corinna has built a reputation for herself across the business as a friendly, polite and approachable member of the team.
