Job Summary:

The role holder will be responsible for all social media and reviews across the business working within our Brand Reputation team.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Social media:

Responsible for proactive posting across all social media platforms, adapting posts to suit the platform and persona, for all Optionis brands using Hootsuite to schedule activity where possible

Reactively responding to social media comments in a timely fashion, reaching out to teams across the business as necessary to aid follow up

Speedily reporting or flagging social posts that break platform rules

Reporting on all social media activity and engagement

Working with our Brand Recognition team to ensure that clients are following our social media platforms as necessary

Investigating new social media platforms as and when they appear

Earned attention (Reviews):

Responsible for responding to all reviews across Trustpilot, Google Reviews and other platforms, whether 1 star or 5 star

Sharing reviews with other teams within the business as necessary and working with those teams to encourage review recommendations

Reporting on all review activity and engagement on a weekly basis

Working closely with our Account Managers on the various review platforms to ensure our use of such platforms is as optimal as it can be

Reporting or flagging inappropriate reviews if they break platform rules

Investigating and understanding all review platforms and forming a review strategy with the Content & PR Manager as to whether to engage across all platforms available


The Person:

A social media native and understands the mechanics and drivers of a good post across the different platforms

Self-motivated and credible communicator with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Experience:


Thorough knowledge and experience of social media engagement

Deep understanding of reviews best practice

Excellent grammatical and communication skills


Social media qualification

Marketing qualification
