Role Overview:

As an Account Manager, you will be part of a team who are jointly responsible for servicing and growing our small agency accounts. You will deal with “walk in” agencies, setting them up as Parasol / ClearSky partners and ensuring they understand our processes. You will also be responsible for growing the referrals and joiners from the portfolio of small accounts through proactive account and stakeholder management.

This is an entry level role into sales and account management with no previous sales experience required.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • You will service a portfolio of small agency accounts, working as part of a pooled support team covering queries across a large group of accounts
  • You will take ownership of selected accounts allowing you to demonstrate your ability to grow them
  • You will be required to adhere to sales KPI’s to help structure your day-to-day activity. These KPI’s will include outbound sales activity and a minimum level of customer satisfaction scores across your account management interactions
  • You will own a set number of accounts to individually grow into medium sized accounts
  • The role will involve the operational aspects of onboarding joiners
  • You will be required to ensure the accuracy of account data by ensuring a continuously cleansing process is in place
  • A large part of your role will be to source medium to large opportunities to pass to senior colleagues
  • This role can act as a gateway into a full sales account management position

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to build relationships
  • Customer centric attitude with a desire to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience of Salesforce or another CRM is desirable
  • Tenacious with an ability to uncover sales opportunities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed targets
