The Optionis Group is one of the UK’s most successful professional services groups, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking HR Business Partner to join our high-performing HR function.
Reporting into our Director of HR, you will have full ownership of specific business areas across the group. You will work alongside senior leaders to enable you to drive the strategic agenda and ultimately support the business to achieve its vision.
You will be supported by a HR Advisor who will report directly into you.
Responsibilities within the role include but aren’t limited to:
Build and maintain strong business relationships with relevant business leaders ensuring they are supported and coached to help improve business efficiencies
Deliver relevant strategic and proactive advice, which is aligned to the groups vision, purpose and values
Take ownership of questioning and challenging others to get to the root of people and business issues and develop solutions to support the business area
Actively contribute to the creation of the people strategy in-line with the strategic and operational plans and assist in ensuring its translation into respective business areas
Build management capability in all people related matters using a variety of techniques such as coaching, training etc.
Provide guidance on people practices such as restructures and succession planning
Proactively identify reoccurring issues and/or trends and work with business areas to address them e.g. high sickness levels, high turnover
Ensure policies and procedures are continuously reviewed and updated to ensure they are fit for purpose and deliver a quality service
Ensure all relevant information affecting payroll relating to your assigned business areas is processed accurately on a monthly basis
What we are looking for:
Fully CIPD qualified
Proven experience of working as a HR Business Partner in a commercially focussed business environment
Experience of management
Strong employee relations experience
A forward-thinking and solution focussed attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
